
Kayla Thomas
Executive Producer
Kayla Thomas is a Puerto Rican, Ecuadorian and Black actress and singer. Georgia raised & New York made; she has been a consistent performer for the past 11 years.
She studied theatre at Georgia College where she competed at the Southeastern Theater Conference and the Kennedy Center American College Theater Festival. She also wrote, directed, and starred in her solo show Embrace Your Humanity.
Upon Graduating, she made the decision to move to New York and launch her acting career. In December 2017 she was featured in an independent short entitled One Time Only Directed by David Tyson Lam and she also worked with Keenan Oliphant (a student in Columbia University’s MFA in Directing program) on an adaptation of A Raisin in the Sun. She then went on to study Acting for Film with Gabrielle Berberich at Michael Howard Studios.
She has experience in lighting, costume, make-up, acting, directing, and writing. These are all assets that she will bring to the project full force.
